Poisoned three daughters to death, MP woman critical after suicide bid

In a tragic incident, a woman, in a village in the Alirajpur district of Madhya Pradesh, poisoned her three young daughters to death before consuming poison herself at her in-laws’ house. while all the three girls died while the mother was admitted to a hospital in a critical condition.

According to the police, the incident took place in the Mafidaar Faliya village in Adwara area late evening Friday.

The deceased girls were identified as Savitri (7), Kartika (5), and Divyaki (3).

As per investigations, the mother Nuribai first gave some poisonous insecticide to her three daughters and then consumed it herself.

Police officials said the family told them that the woman’s husband has been working at some place in Gujarat for over a month, and has not come home since then.

Further investigations are on in the matter, while the woman was said to be battling for her life in the hospital.
